Fakemon: Corsola Line

Another old picture from before the break.

I actually still quite like this pic. I think they more closely match the Sugimori style than the Poochyena line (still definitely not perfect, but better. My new revamps will be MUCH closer, because I have unlocked one of the style's secrets. ). I also just really like Volcoral's design, so it won't undergo much change at all. Hopefully you guys can guess from Volcoral's name that it's my take on the elusive Fire/Water-Type. :> Is this a good approach to you guys? I really think it is.

Corsola is another one of those Pokemon that has a cool design, but just doesn't have the power to back it up in my experience (although I've never raised a Corsola before, so I might be completely wrong about that), and so could use an evolution. But also, when I was brainstorming for a good Fire/Water idea, I thought about undersea volcanoes and vents. And then I thought about Corsola, coral. They just kinda clicked together in my head.

Now I get to come up with something to fill the Fire/Grass-Type role. I do have an idea, but I'm not entirely sure how well it can be pulled off.
